| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | Neste trabalho estudamos algumas propriedades combinatórias das tranças virtuais, tais como a série central inferior do grupo de tranças virtuais VBn e também os núcleos de duas projeções diferentes de VBn no grupo simétrico Sn. Esses núcleos são respectivamente o grupo de tranças puras virtuais VPn e o fecho normal do grupo das tranças de Artin, que vamos denotar por Hn e é também conhecido como KBn. Descrevemos as relações entre Hn e VPn e o grupo de tranças puras estendidas EPn que é o núcleo da projeção de Hn em Sn. Esse nome é motivado pelo fato que EPn é justamente igual à interseção de Hn com VPn. Para finalizar, daremos uma apresentação inédita para EPn nos casos em que n = 2 e n n = 3. |
| Abstract: | In this work, we study some combinatorial properties of virtual braids, such as the lower central series of the virtual braid group VBn and also the kernels of two different projections of VBn onto the symmetric group Sn. These kernels are respectively the group of virtual pure braids VPn and the normal closure of the Artin braid group, denoted by Hn and also known as KBn. We describe the relationships between Hn and VPn, as well as the extended pure braid group EPn, which is the kernel of the projection from Hn to Sn. This name is motivated by the fact that EPn is precisely the intersection of Hn and VPn. Finally, we will give an unprecedented presentation to EPn in cases where n = 2 and n = 3. |
