Resumo:
This Technical-Technological Production presents the RPG game Mandacaru & Cangaço, developed as the result of an intervention-research project conducted with high school students. Inspired by the play Auto da Compadecida by Ariano Suassuna, the game offers a playful and collaborative approach to encourage literary reading through role-playing, narrative conflict resolution, and collective meaning-making. The game's development involved the active participation of students at every stage, from planning to final adjustments of the prototype. The final material includes a manual with simplified rules, an adventure suggestion, character sheets, tokens, a battle grid, and a setting inspired by the Brazilian sertão. This proposal aims to provide teachers with an innovative resource for reading mediation, fostering literary enjoyment and promoting student agency.
