As baianas de acarajé em Salvador: economia de sobrevivência, informalidade e ancestralidade

Abstract

This monograph presents as the theme the study about the Baianas of Acarajé in Salvador, in which one seeks understand the relation between the ancestry knowledge of the preparation of Acarajé and the informal work. On that way, search up investigate the construction of the professional identity of Baianas, above all, through interference of the regulation of the municipality of Salvador in the Ofício. For that, realized nine interviews with Bainas de Acarajé on the Brotas neighborhood, through a semi-structured roadmap and after that, the content analysis. In the same direction, sought understand the implations about the aplication of the Decree-law nº 26.804, that provides for the location and functioning of informal commerce in the streets of Salvador and the sale of Acarajé and similars, as well as the Law nº 9.069/2016 that provides about the City Master Plan. The legislations work together with SEMOP – Secretaria de Ordem Pública, and are responsible for issuing the licenses for the sale of Acarajé, as well as for supervising the regularization of Baianas with the agency. Thus, it is intended to reflect on the transformations of the craft through the historical perspective of legal exclusion of the black workforce, especially the driving force of work, black women and the perception of rights that is shared by them. With this, previous research and theoretical investigations about black work in Brazil were also used to understand referring to the phenomenon of uberization of work, considering the labor legal disprotection in which the work of the Baianas of Acarajé.
