Serviço Social e Educação: balanço da produção do conhecimento sobre o trabalho do/a Assistente Social em escolas públicas.

Abstract

Este estudo traz elementos sobre a produção do conhecimento do trabalho do/a Assistente Social na Política de Educação, fazendo recorte sob o campo das escolas públicas da educação básica. O objeto de estudo da pesquisa é: “a produção do conhecimento sobre o trabalho do/a Assistente Social na educação básica”. Trazemos como pergunta central: como a produção do conhecimento do Serviço Social vem refletindo a atuação profissional na educação básica, especificamente nas escolas públicas? Com o intuito de responder a essa questão, apresentamos como objetivo geral da pesquisa: Levantar a produção do conhecimento do Serviço Social brasileiro, com vistas a investigar como está sendo pensada a atuação do/a Assistente Social na educação básica; e como objetivos específicos: levantar e catalogar teses e dissertações de Serviço Social que tratam sobre o trabalho do/a Assistente Social nas escolas públicas da educação básica; identificar, a partir das teses e dissertações levantadas, as principais demandas que as escolas públicas têm requisitado ao assistente social; identificar e analisar as principais tendências do trabalho profissional do/a Assistente Social a partir das produções analisadas; identificar e analisar os desafios propostos nos estudos para o trabalho do/a Assistente Social na rede pública de ensino (educação básica). Realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, tendo como fontes os bancos de Teses e Dissertações do Instituto Brasileiro de Informação, Ciência e Tecnologia - IBICT e da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES e a legislação referente ao trabalho do/a Assistente Social na Educação. A partir dessas fontes, foi realizado um balanço da produção do conhecimento acerca do objeto de estudo e construído um banco de Teses e Dissertações com 39 (trinta e nove) estudos que tratam sobre o trabalho do/a Assistente Social nas mais diversas modalidades de atuação na Educação. A etapa de análise foi realizada a partir da Análise de Conteúdo de 9 (nove) estudos que tratam sobre o trabalho do/a Assistente Social em escolas públicas, entre eles 8 (oito) dissertações de mestrado e 1 (uma) tese de doutorado. Desse modo, a pesquisa traz elementos que ajudam a pensar como se dá o trabalho dos Assistentes Sociais em escolas públicas. Apresenta como resultados que o Assistente Social vem trabalhando com as diversas expressões da questão social que se fazem presentes dentro da escola, tais como situações de violência, bullying, gravidez na adolescência. Atua como mediador entre escola e família juntamente com as equipes multiprofissionais, muitas vezes de pedagogos, diretores, coordenadores pedagógicos e psicólogos e também atua em comunicação com a rede e órgãos, tais como Conselho Tutelar, Programa de Saúde da Famílias, CRAS, CREAS, entre outros.

ABSTRACT This study brings elements about the production of knowledge of the work of the Social Worker in Education Policy, making a cut in the field of Public Schools of Basic Education. The object of study of the research is: " the production of knowledge about the work of the Social Worker in Basic Education.". The central question is: how the production of Social Service has been reflecting the professional performance in Basic Education specifically in public schools? In order to answer this question, we present the reseach’s general objective: To bring up knowledge production of the Brazilian Social Work, with a view to investigate how the Social Worker in Basic Education is being thought; and as specific objectives: to collect and catalog Social Service theses and dissertations that deal with the work of the social worker in public primary schools; identify, from the theses and dissertations raised, the main demands that the public schools have asked the social worker; identify and analyze the main trends of the social worker's professional duties from the analyzed productions; identify and analyze the challenges proposed in the studies for the work of the Social Worker in the public school system (basic education). A bibliographical and documentary research was carried out, having as sources the Theses and Dissertations of the Brazilian Institute of Information, Science and Technology (IBICT) and of the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Level Personnel (CAPES) and the legislation related to the work of the social worker On education. From these sources a balance of the production of the knowledge about the object of study was realized, Theses and Dissertations bank was constructed with 39 (thirty nine) studies that deal with the tasks of the social worker in the most diverse modalities of action in Education. The analysis was carried out from the Content Analysis of 9 (nine) studies that deal with the work of the Social Worker in public schools, among them 8 (eight) master's dissertations and 1 (one) doctoral theses. In this way, the research brings elements that help to think how the work of the Social Work in public schools takes place. It presents as results that the social worker has been working with the various expressions of the social question that are present in the school, such as situations of violence, bullying, teenage pregnancy etc. The Social Work acts as a mediator between school and family along with multiprofessional teams, often pedagogues, principals, pedagogical coordinators and psychologists. They also acts in communication with the network and bodies, such as Tutelary Council, Family Health Program, CRAS, CREAS, among others.
