O voto: por que ele é obrigatório no Brasil? uma análise jurídica e histórico-social

Abstract

O principal objetivo desse estudo é analisar o porquê do voto ser obrigatório no Brasil. Para esse trabalho de conclusão de curso, foram feitos levantamentos bibliográficos e revisão de literatura, buscando a compreensão do tema e do conceito do voto analisando toda a historicidade do voto na sociedade mundial, com foco no Brasil. Os fatores histórico e social são de suma importância no estudo e foi analisado de maneira minuciosa para chegar ao entendimento dessa questão e responder essa importante pergunta. Se junta a esse contexto as eleições que estão por vir e a novidade tecnológica da biometria, implantada em diversos Estados já para esta eleição. A população sempre se questiona o porquê do voto ser obrigatório no Brasil e a maioria ainda não entendeu que o voto pode ser o maior instrumento de transformação social e político que existe numa democracia.

He main objective of this study is to analyze why voting is mandatory in Brazil. In order to complete this course, bibliographical surveys and literature review were carried out, aiming at understanding the theme and the concept of the vote, analyzing the whole historical nature of the vote in the world society, with a focus on Brazil. The historical and social factors are of great importance in the study and were analyzed in a thorough way to arrive at the understanding of this question and answer this important question. Added to this context are the upcoming elections and the technological novelty of biometrics, implemented in several states already for this election. The population is always questioning why the vote is mandatory in Brazil and most still do not understand that the vote can be the greatest instrument of social and political transformation that exists in a democracy.
