Buscando o fenômeno: quando gênero, educação sexual e a moral religiosa se encontram na sala de aula

Abstract

Este trabalho busca compreender o fenômeno do encontro entre Ciência e Religião em meio escolar durante as atividades de ensino de professores/as nos temas da Educação Sexual e de Gênero. Para isto, contamos com a participação de professores/as das mais diferentes áreas de conhecimento que se detiveram com este fenômeno em seu cotidiano de trabalho e/ou pesquisa e que, através de encontros individuais, relataram suas experiências ao pesquisador através de entrevistas. Por meio do registro destas vivências, chegamos aos textos que puderam ser analisados por meio do método fenomenológico de Análise do Fenômeno Situado. Através desse método fomos à procura dos principais elementos significativos ao fenômeno nos textos, que uma vez trabalhados e aprimorados (reduções fenomenológicas), possibilitaram o surgimento de categorias gerais. Finalmente, estas categorias, por determinação do método, convergem em crescente generalidade, possibilitando a constituição de uma perspectiva do fenômeno estudado, meta estabelecida nesta pesquisa. Em síntese, o trabalho destaca 4 categorias estruturais ao fenômeno que tratam respectivamente sobre: “A religião em sala de aula” segundo o seu aparecimento, uso e debate por alunos/as e professores/as; “O discurso religioso e científico em sala de aula”, segundo o embate e desconforto vivido por professores/as e alunos/as no encontro estre a religião e a Educação Sexual/de Gênero; “Os modos de agir em sala de aula”, segundo as ações de confronto, preconceito, respeito e intolerância entre alunos/as e professores/as; “As reverberações para fora da sala de aula”, segundo os efeitos familiares, psicológicos, curriculares e políticos para além da sala de aula decorrentes do encontro entre a Religião e a Educação Sexual/de Gênero.

ABSTRACT This work seeks to understand the phenomenon of the encounter between Science and Religion in school environment during the teaching activities of teachers in the themes of Sexual and Gender Education. For this, we counted on the participation of professors from the most different areas of knowledge who stopped with this phenomenon in their daily work and / or research and who, through individual meetings, reported their experiences to the researcher through interviews. Through the recording of these experiences, we arrive at the texts that could be analyzed through the phenomenological method of Analysis of the Phenomenon Located. Through this method we have been looking for the main significant elements of the phenomena in the texts, which, once worked and improved (phenomenological reductions), allowed the emergence of general categories. Finally, these categories, by determination of the method, converge in increasing generality, making possible the constitution of a perspective of the phenomenon studied, goal established in this research. In summary, the work highlights four structural categories to the phenomenon that deal respectively with: "Religion in the classroom" according to its appearance, use and debate by students and teachers; "The religious and scientific discourse in the classroom", according to the clash and discomfort experienced by teachers and students in the encounter with religion and Sex / Gender Education; "The ways of acting in the classroom", according to the actions of confrontation, prejudice, respect and intolerance between students and teachers; "The reverberations out of the classroom," according to family, psychological, curricular and political effects beyond the classroom resulting from the encounter between Religion and Sex / Gender Education.
