Resumo:
The Experience Report entitled Between peripheral and evangelical experiences of citizenship based on Dance and Art is the result of an implied research, developed in the Professional Master's Program in Dance at the Federal University of Bahia, based on the idea that Dance produces knowledge and can be understood as a field through which diverse knowledge is learned. The main objective is to bring about a dialogue with Dance, education and the peripheral evangelical church, expanding possibilities for the formation of identities, based on an emancipatory thought, as a means of contributing to the reconstruction of relationships between subjects in the community in other contexts of citizenship. I took as a basis the artistic experiences developed from the creative processes in dance that occur within evangelical dance groups, specifically the Cia de Artes Casa de Davi, which later became the Coletivo Casa das Artes. As a reference, to support the research in the theoretical scope, I bring Conceição Evaristo and Marie-Christine Josso, who corroborate the writing through the proposals of transcribing the artistic experiences lived during the workshops and festivals held by Cia de Artes and discussing the importance of life experience, exemplifying the use of autobiographical approaches. And bell hooks and Paulo Freire as references for ensuring an emancipatory education, enabling transformative attitudes of the bodies-subjects of these structurally conservative and fundamentalist environments. This research concludes with the production of the report of an educational experience based on a trajectory with dance within the evangelical church, structured in workshops and festivals promoted by Cia de Artes Casa de Davi and the creation of Coletivo Casa das Artes, resulting in artistic productions. As a result, I hope that this Report on an Educational and Citizenship Artistic Experience, in a religious context, will enable other young people from evangelical communities to develop artistic experiences and find support and acceptance, providing a sense of belonging within these environments.
