Resumo:
This memorial, entitled Popular Literature: the cordel in the classroom, presents the
results obtained through the intervention project carried out at the Maria Quitéria
Educational Center, located in the municipality of Camaçari-BA, developed under the
Professional Master‘s Degree in Letters, under the guidance of the Teacher Doctor
Alvanita Almeida. The data of this qualitative research of na ethnographic nature
were collected from the realization of Portuguese language classes. The present
work consigns my memories, according to a critical and reflective analysis of
everything that contributed to my professional and intelectual training. It also contains
registered research-action-training-experiential, which took place in the classroom
with 9th grade students, consisting of Reading cordlet leaflets, from the perspective
of lireracy. It was also possible to learn about the students‘ lives, their experiences,
their fears, their knowledge, their projections and to contribute to the identity student
and personal (re) construction. In addition to enabling me, as a teacher, a better
understanding of my practice and the Reading achievements that occur in the school
environment.
