Resumo:
The current times are marked by great technological advances, which are subsequently changing work activities. This transformation is driven by innovations in artificial intelligence, process automation and related technologies. In response to these changes, traditional professions are undergoing a redefinition of their functions and activities. One of these professions is that of the executive secretary. Based on this context, the main objective of this research is to investigate the impacts of new automation technologies on secretarial services. To this end, an applied, exploratory study was conducted with a mixed approach (quantitative and qualitative) for data collection and analysis. The research instruments used were field research and a semi-structured questionnaire, administered between December 18 and January 20, 2025, with the participation of 42 professionals in the category. The main results indicate a significant use of automation technologies, with this use reflecting increased productivity and strategic direction for secretarial professionals.
