Resumo:
Working with oral genres has had little attention in the Portuguese classes, particularly at the Municipal School Professor Lydia Pinto Coelho where the intervention project took place. The interview, the seminar and debate, for example, are used in the classroom as tools to evaluate specific content in different disciplines. But they are not seen as oral texts of social circulation, and therefore assume particular function on the context which it appears. In this sense, the objective of this study was to think a significant practice for the Portuguese language classes, in which students feel active participants. For this purpose, an ethnographic approach was necessary in order to dive into the realities and meet the literacies of these individuals. With these realities in that memorial included reflections on experience with oral genres in the room the 9th year the activities contemplated by the actual use of language. Combining this practice to studies on the dichotomy speech / writing and performance it became clear, too, that the relationship between oral, written and performative is getting closer when it comes to the study of orality.
