Resumo:
This work is the result of an artistic research in the field of songwriting, where the creative processes and theoretical derivations are intersected by Lacanian-oriented psychoanalysis. The general objective was to compose songs and discuss their creative processes from the perspective of Lacanian psychoanalysis. From this horizon of the creative processes of music in relation to the unconscious, the specific objectives consisted of: composing songs while recording their creative processes; conducting a transdisciplinary literature review between music, psychoanalysis, and literature; and gathering testimonies in both audio and written format for each song. The methodology is mixed, containing elements of Academic Memorial, Genetic Criticism, and Research in Psychoanalysis, with an emphasis on the relationship between Testimony and transmission. As a result, we produced 16 songs whose creative processes were commented on and discussed, leading to theoretical elaborations, including: considerations on how the creative process of song relates to desire, writing, and the voice as object a; the Borromean nature of the songwriter's craft; and the accent as the letter of the Other in its relation to musical creation. It is concluded that the creative process of song in the light of psychoanalysis can bring a new reference for research in composition as well as contribute to new theoretical constructions in psychoanalysis.
