However, it is imperative to highlight the fact that, so far, there are still few studies whose central focus falls on this province in the south of Angola - particularly, there are almost no linguistics and sociolinguistics about this context, above all, relating them to the situation of education in Portuguese. Since there are still few studies on the Name from the perspective of the humanities, this research project aims to contribute to Namibian citizens, insofar as an understanding of the ethnic-linguistic composition of the province is defined, in order to associate this composition with the context. education of local students. In this sense, it intends education in the light of the interface between different analyzes of Linguistics and Sociolinguistics, which as natural as linguistic varieties and tries, from the understanding of other languages, to expand the linguistic niche, with the purpose of understanding other languages. that all students are properly proficient in the most different communicative situations. More specifically, this study aims to understand the ethnic-linguistic differences of each of the five municipalities in Namibe, namely: Camacuio, Bibala, Namibe, Virei and Tombua. The intention that motivates this proposition is the fact that these differences must have historical factors (such as the processes of territorial occupation of the province), cultural (due to the different ethnic groups that have great cultural peculiarities), geographic (due, mainly, access to the sea in some municipalities and the location of the Namibe desert in others) and political (as most public policies do not respect local and/or other identities).
