Resumo:
This artistic memorial recounts my trajectory, highlighting the main passages that mark more than 38 years of career, experienced in different contexts that build my identity as a Dance artist. I will list each phase, honoring and referencing, in summary form, those main people – masters, teachers, directors, choreographers and advisors – who influenced and still inspire me in different aspects of my career and life, honoring the provocations, the teachings, the analyzes that promoted transformations in my life. Through a letter addressed to my greatest reference at the moment, my advisor, Doctor Gilsamara Moura, I will report the main contributions that each person added to my path, recognizing the value for those who work in the formative, artistic and ongoing processes and are present in the struggle to continue believing that it is possible to make a difference in every micro action on a daily basis. Gratitude to: Roseli Rodrigues – director, teacher and choreographer of Raça Cia de Dança de São Paulo-SP (in memoriam); Luis Arrieta – dancer, teacher, choreographer and researcher, born in Argentina; Antônio Carlos Cardoso - artistic director, choreographer, teacher, dancer and photographer; Carlos Moraes – dancer, teacher, horeographer and director; Márcia Mignac – PhD professor at UFBA; Helena Katz – PhD professor and dance critic and Rita Aquino – PhD professor. These are my main references, which inspire me and lead me to other perspectives, signaling that there is always something to learn, allow, and surrender with love to everything you set out to do. Ultimately, they are people who make it possible to follow and continue believing. Hail, my Dance ancestors! Save!
