Resumo:
From the experience of the Zona de Arte da Periferia – ZAP 18, a theatrical artistic space located on the outskirts of Belo Horizonte and where I develop my artistic work, I set out to research the differences and similarities of its trajectory with other places located in Salvador, Bahia. They are: Acervo da Laje, Casa Preta and Sarau da Onça. In the understanding of our research, the four are places of political poetics, capable of establishing an exchange relationship with their public that feeds back the production of their works. The concept of political poetics is worked on here, as something that balances between the personal and the collective, the public and the private, the macro and the micro. But first, our first step was to try to establish working tools to visit and better understand the nuances present in the 4 different places. Thus, we opened the field of cartography to risk a research method called artistic cartography, based on previous experiences of so many other cartographies, but also taking a few steps forward and understanding that the research is done in a certain time and space. That is, other researchers, at other times, would do another research. Speaking of time, it was also inevitable to reflect on the times of isolation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and its consequences for artists and places so focused on face-to-face exchanges. We observe, in the practices of the places, the search for the preservation of life and new formats so as not to lose proximity and discover new links between artists, places and their public.
