Resumo:
The teaching of Physics for high school always finds several challenges in the teaching-learning process. Some factors can be listed, from intrinsic to agents (such as lack of knowledge in the series passed by students and discontinued teacher training) to political factors (school physical structure, curriculum difference). But, the very character of physics topics also contribute as a major challenge to be overcome in textbooks, either by their anachronistic presentation of concepts or compartmentalized presentation of the topics covered. Vector quantities, often presented in the initial year but worked throughout high school, are commonly presented in different ways that end up confusing students as to their real nature depending on the conduct of the teacher in the teaching process learning. For this, presenting the primary concepts of Linear Algebra in high school can be a means of not only adding new mathematical knowledge but also facilitating the understanding of physics topics by students, while maintaining other didactic resources. Thus, this work focuses on this last point presented, which aims to demonstrate how the teaching of linear algebra in high school can facilitate the conduct of the teaching-learning process in the discipline of physics. Still, it also seeks to present other didactic resources for such conduction, which is based on the use of technologies in teaching, in the presentation of the GeoGebra graphic calculator and its functions for visual demonstration of the concepts.
