Resumo:
Considering that the current scenario is marked by rapid changes, risks, and uncertainties and
that it is essential to adopt new ways of thinking, processes, products, and services that make
it possible to survive in the market, research is carried out on creativity in organizations to
analyze the perception of Executive Secretariat professionals linked to the SecBa -
Secretariado Bahia group about creativity in the work environment. Therefore, it is necessary
1) to map the profile of Executive Secretariat (SE) professionals linked to the SecBa -
Secretariado Bahia group; 2) identify the profile of the organizations where these
professionals work, and 3) diagnose the conditions for creativity in the work environment
based on the perception of SE professionals. Then, exploratory-descriptive applied research
was carried out, with a quantitative approach for data analysis. The online semi-structured
questionnaire, composed of the ICCAT instrument, was used as a collection instrument,
applied from March 23 to September 16, 2022, with the participation of 27 professionals in
the area. Given this, it was found that the profile of professionals is multidisciplinary and
focused on continuing education and managerial performance, performing their functions in
large organizations, of national origin and scope and from various areas of activity,
predominantly health/ welfare. Regarding the favorable conditions for creativity in the work
environment, it was observed that the factors challenging activities and freedom of action
received the highest rates of agreement, while the factor difficulties in communication and
rigidity of norms and rules in the organization, considered unfavorable, showed the lowest
rate of agreement. It is concluded, therefore, that the perception of the Executive Secretariat
professionals about creativity in their work environment is positive and that the conditions
considered unfavorable exert less influence on their creative potential.
