Querying White, Linda Hutcheon notes that history and literature are both "discursive constructs". Both historically and socially constructed, are statements that turn, serve specific interests and have in common, besides the fact it's speeches, the likelihood and intertextuality. The multiple perspectives deemed relevant by the post-modern theory allow the inclusion of women in literary history and his gaze between those who have the power to tell the story. So the woman has the opportunity to tell the story from their perspective, through their language, a place that until recently was occupied only by men.
