Abstract: Brazil, in the 21st century, began to occupy the first position in the world ranking of Dengue s Fever (DF) reported cases, with an incidence ranging from 63.2 (2004) to 429.9 (2010) per 100,000 inhabitants (Fig. 1), and is among the ten most at risk countries for this disease.
