Origem de coronária direita não usual: um relato de caso

Abstract

Double-origin right coronary artery (RCA) is a rare coronary anomaly. To date, the number of reported cases of double RCA is relatively small. However, several cases have been described in the literature, particularly over the past decade, due to the increasing availability of diagnostic resources, improvements in diagnostic techniques, and greater access to imaging studies. A female patient was referred through the regulatory system with a diagnosis of stable angina. During cardiac catheterization, a double ostium of the RCA was identified, giving rise to two right coronary arteries. Coronary anomalies should be recognized to avoid complications during coronary interventions and cardiac surgery.
