Trajetórias de mulheres trabalhadoras rurais da comunidade do queijo no município de Nova Fátima - Bahia entre os anos 1991 e 2023

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the reasons for the invisibilization of rural women workers from the Queijo community, in the associative and union movements in the municipality of Nova Fátima – Bahia, between the years 1991 and 2023. The methodological strategy valued the oral history and narratives of rural working women from the community, in addition to the experiences of the researcher who sought to analyze local, micro and macro social issues in the research field, working with theories of social movements and associations. An empirical survey was carried out based on primary data, obtained at different times from dialogues, conversations, interviews and observations, in addition to secondary data, reports, minutes of the association, manuscripts, documentaries and other academic works. Oral techniques, reports of experiences and rescue of memories were used to record the historical facts of the emergence of the Queijo community and the association of residents of the Queijo region – AMRQ, in addition to surveying who these women are and their participation in these movements and spaces of power, between the 1990s and 2023.
