Orientador: Alzira Queiróz Gondim Tude de Sá. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Bacharelado em Arquivologia) – Universidade Federal da Bahia. Salvador, 2022. Este estudo se propõe a investigar a gênese da produção documental que resultou na formação do Arquivo da Marinha do Brasil e qual o papel desse Arquivo na conservação da memória da Instituição. O trabalho discorre sobre os aspectos históricos da arte de navegar e da Era das Grandes Navegações, apontando para esta via como facilitadora do trânsito tanto geográfico, comercial quanto informacional e elege, para um estudo inicial, três documentos originários desse período: A Carta de Pero Vaz de Caminha, A Carta de Mestre João Faras e A Relação do Piloto Anônimo, considerando-os como documentos arquivísticos. Investiga a criação da Marinha do Brasil com enfoque no contexto do patrimônio documental; traça a trajetória de criação do Arquivo dentro da estrutura organizacional da Instituição até os dias atuais, bem como procura identificar a tipologia documental do seu acervo. Quanto aos objetivos, trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, com base histórica, construída por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica e documenta, de caráter qualitativo, além da bibliográfica que embasou o referencial teórico. Esses insumos possibilitaram responder os questionamentos e alcançar os objetivos propostos. Como resultado, apresenta os fatores que determinaram a produção documental que deu origem ao Arquivo da Marinha, bem como seu papel na preservação da memória da Força Naval brasileira e a atuação de seus militares arquivistas, que ingressaram com a missão de, além de servir à Pátria, preservar e manter o patrimônio documental que a eles é delegado gerir e preservar. |
| Abstract: | SANTOS, Rosiane Vieira. Navigating was necessary...documenting much more: from the Portuguese Navy to the Imperial Brazilian Navy - History, memory, achives and documents. 2022. 62p. Advisor: Alzira Queiróz Gondim Tude de Sá. Course Completion Work (Bachelor’s degree in Archiveology) – Federal University of Bahia. Salvador, 2022. This study proposes to investigate the genesis of the documental production that resulted in the formation of the Brazilian Navy Archive and what is the role of this Archive in the conservation of the Institution's memory. The work discusses the historical aspects of the art of navigation and the Age of Great Navigations, pointing to this route as a facilitator of geographical, commercial and informational transit, and elects, for an initial study, three documents originating from that period: The Letter of Pero Vaz de Caminha, The Letter of Teacher João Faras and The Relation of the Anonymous Pilot, considering them as archival documents. Investigates the creation of the Brazilian Navy focusing on the context of documentary heritage; traces the trajectory of creation of the Archive within the organizational structure of the Institution until the present day, as well as seeks to identify the documentary typology of its collection. As for the objectives, it is a descriptive research, with a historical basis, built through bibliographic and document research, of a qualitative nature, in addition to the bibliography that supported the theoretical framework. These inputs made it possible to answer the questions and achieve the proposed objectives. As a result, it presents the factors that determined the documentary production that gave rise to the Navy Archive, as well as its role in preserving the memory of the Brazilian Naval Force and the performance of its military archivists, who joined with the mission of, in addition to serving the Homeland, preserve and maintain the documentary heritage that they are delegated to manage and preserve. |
