metadata.dc.description.resumo: Este trabalho consiste em uma proposta de tradução do Livro III, do Primeiro Mitógrafo do Vaticano, para a língua portuguesa. O Primeiro Mitógrafo é um dos três autores anônimos que faz parte do grupo conhecido como Mitógrafos do Vaticano, que tiveram suas obras descobertas por Angelo Mai em 1831. A obra do Primeiro Mitógrafo, situada entre as últimas décadas do século IX e os finais do século XI, é uma compilação mitográfica reinterpretada sob a ótica cristã durante a Idade Média. A tradução propostaé acompanhada de algumas notas e de um estudo sobre a obra, destacando as fontesutilizadas pelo mitógrafo, o manuscrito e as edições. Abstract: This work consists of a translation of Book III, by the First Vatican Mythographer, into Portuguese. The First Mythographer is one of three anonymous authors who are part of the group known as the Vatican Mythographers, whose works were discovered by Angel o Mai in 1831. The work of the First Mythographer, located between the last decades of the 9th century and the end of the century XI, is a mythographic compilation reinterpreted from a Christian perspective during the Middle Ages. The proposed translation is accompanied by some notes and a study of the work, highlighting the sources used by the mythographer, the manuscript and the editions.
