Manejo ecológico de solo: chave para o processo de transição agroecológica

Abstract

Conventional agriculture has been a major contributor to the degradation of natural ecosystems and agroecosystems, resulting in a loss of biodiversity and ecosystem services. A job, a search for alternatives, an agroecology, that expands beyond the structures of the agroecossystem, aiding in the ethical change of the human being. Thus, emerges the ecological management of soil that characterizes the soil as a living being and functions as the main tool for an agroecological transition. This research investigates the role of ecological soil management and its relation to an agroecological transition, the reestablishment of ecosystem services and edaphic agrobiodiversity. It is a qualitative study, using as methodological procedure a narrative review of the knowledge present in the scientific literature. The results suggest that ecological soil management is indirectly or directly connected to almost all ecosystem services, as well as the possibility of reestablishing an agrobiodiversity in all spheres. In addition, this alternative management plays a central role in the process of agroecological transition, since it prioritizes the basal change that will structure the entire agroecosystem. It can be concluded that ecological soil management re-establishes the role of soil as a self-regulator of the ecological processes fundamental to life on the planet, being key in the process of agroecological transition.
