| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | A Doença de Alzheimer (DA) é uma enfermidade incurável que debilita psicologicamente o paciente e afeta emocionalmente seus familiares que convivem com a doença. O trabalho pretende, através da análise de patentes, contribuir para a compreensão das tecnologias desenvolvidas recentemente no tratamento da DA. Na metodologia foi realizada uma pesquisa exploratória através da prospecção tecnológica patentária, além de revisões bibliográficas sobre o assunto. Embora existam 132 agentes em ensaios clínicos para tratar a DA, ainda não foi descoberto nenhum fármaco para a cura da doença, restando apenas terapias combinadas e ações de prevenção que permitem diminuir o seu progresso. |
| Abstract: | : Alzheimer's disease (AD) is an incurable disease that psychologically weakens the patient and emotionally affects his family members who live with the disease. Consistent work, through patent analysis, contributes to the understanding of technologies recently developed in the treatment of AD. In the methodology, an exploratory research was carried out through the patenting technological prospecting, in addition to bibliographic reviews on the subject. Although there are 132 agents in clinical trials to treat AD, no drug has yet been discovered to cure the disease, with only combination therapies and preventive actions remaining that allow it to slow its progress.
