Pronome pessoal oblíquo na linguagem escrita contemporânea de língua portuguesa: uma pesquisa sociolingüística

Abstract

Atualmente, é muito fácil ouvir, principalmente na televisão, pessoas de diversos níveis culturais se utilizarem de palavras ou expressões da Língua Portuguesa de forma diferente do que é “aconselhado” pela Gramática Tradicional. Um bom exemplo disso é o que vem acontecendo com os pronomes pessoais ME e SE, que, ao serem utilizados na linguagem escrita por alunos do Ensino Fundamental e Médio, assumem funções diferentes. Isso cria um verdadeiro confronto entre a Teoria e a Prática Educacional. Assim, muitas questões podem e devem ser levantadas, a partir da atenção dada para esse acontecimento. E uma das principais é a dificuldade do profissional de Educação em adotar uma postura satisfatória diante dessa situação. Se a Língua Portuguesa realmente engloba as formas MIM e SI, acredita-se que elas estão sendo utilizadas por um processo analógico ao da utilização das formas ME e SE.

Nowadays, is very easy to hear, specially on television, people of different cultural level using words or expressions on Portuguese Language in a different way of what the Traditional Grammar recommend to. A good example of this is what is happening with the personal pronouns ME and SE, which, when are used on the writing language by students of the Elementary School and High School, assume other functions. This creates a real battle between the theory and practice educational. Therefore, many questions can and must be done from the attention given to this problem. Moreover, one of the most important of them is the difficult of the professional of education in choose a way to deal with this situation. If the Portuguese language really houses the forms MIM and SI, it is believed that they are being used by a process of analogy of the use of the forms ME and SE.
