REPRESENTAÇÕES SOBRE A LÍNGUA NA MÍDIA IMPRESSA INSTITUTO DE LETRAS PÓS-GRADUAÇÃO EM LÍNGUA E CULTURA AÇÕES IMPRESSA: UM OLHAR DISCURSIVO

Abstract

O discurso da tradição gramatical ainda se faz muito presente no senso comum, no espaço escola e no campo midiático, a despeito dos saberes, da produção de conhecimentos da Linguística acerca da língua e suas variantes, do combate desta ciência aos estereótipos e aos preconceitos que giram em torno dos falantes que não utilizam a norma culta. Nesse contexto, nesta tese, objetivamos analisar o funcionamento discursivo sobre a língua na ordem midiática impressa. Melhor dizendo: visamos identificar as representações sobre a língua em duas revistas que circulam nacionalmente, a saber: a Revista Língua Portuguesa e a RevistaConhecimento Prático Língua Portuguesa. Teoricamente, nos alicerçamos na Análise do Discurso de orientação francesa cujo fundador é Michel Pêcheux, seguidos dos trabalhos de Courtine e Foucault, bem como dos pesquisadores brasileiros, entre os quais destacamos Orlandi, Indursky e Baronas. Os resultados da análise apontam, no que diz respeito à Revista Língua Portuguesa, para uma prática discursiva na qual a Formação Discursiva prescritiva é a dominante, regendo, assim, os dizeres das capas, dos sujeitos-autores, dos sujeitos-leitores desse suporte. No que concerne à Revista Língua Portuguesa: Conhecimento Prático, por outro lado, os resultados das análises apontam para uma Formação Discursiva da Linguística assentada no discurso múltiplo no qual a língua é gestada como uma atividade social, cultural, interativa e discursiva.

The discourse of grammatical tradition is still very present in the common sense, the school space and media field, despite the knowledge of the production of knowledge of linguistics about the language and its variants, combat this science stereotypes and prejudices They revolve around the speakers that do not use cultural norms. In this context, this thesis, we aimed to analyze the discursive functioning of the language in the print media order. In other words: we aim to identify the representations of the language in two magazines circulating nationally, namely the Journal Portuguese and the magazine Practical Knowledge Portuguese. Theoretically, in the we reached Analysis of French orientation speech whose founder is Pêcheux followed the work of Courtine and Foucault, as well as Brazilian researchers, among which we highlight Orlandi, Indursky and Baronas. The results of the analysis point, with regard to the journal Portuguese, for a discursive practice in which the Discursive Formation prescriptive is the dominant, ruling thus the words of the covers, the subject-authors, subject-readers that support. Regarding the Portuguese Magazine: Practical Knowledge, on the other hand, the results of the analysis point to a Discursive Formation of Linguistics seated in multiple speech in which language is gestated as a social activity, cultural, interactive and discursive.
