"Audácia": a Emenda Constitucional 72/2013 a partir das narrativas sobre as condições de trabalho de mulheres do Sindoméstico Bahia

Abstract

Este trabalho é situado no campo dos estudos de gênero e feministas e analisa a nova legislação que regula o emprego doméstico, comumente conhecida como PEC das Domésticas. Essa análise é orientada pelas narrativas de mulheres sindicalistas, militantes negras que constroem o Sindoméstico Bahia, Sindicato das Trabalhadoras Domésticas da Bahia, sobre as suas condições de vida, trabalho e atuação/participação na construção e aprovação da legislação. Partimos aqui da compreensão da importância da centralidade dessas narrativas em um trabalho que propõe refletir sobre emprego doméstico, rejeitando o formalismo acadêmico eurocentrado que invisibiliza as vozes negras que contam a sua própria história.

This work is situated in the field of gender and feminist studies and analyzes the new legislation that regulates domestic employment, commonly known as PEC das Domésticas. This analysis is guided by women trade unionists’ narratives, black militants who are part of the Sindoméstico Bahia, Union of Domestic Workers of Bahia, about their living and working conditions, and participation in the construction and approval of legislation. We start here to understand the importance of the centrality of these narratives in a work that proposes to reflect on domestic employment, rejecting the Eurocentric academic formalism that invisibilizes the black voices who can tell their own story.
