A arte contra a barbárie: construção do discurso na dramaturgia de novas diretrizes em tempos de paz

Abstract

RESUMO

O presente estudo propõe uma análise da construção discursiva na dramaturgia da peça Novas diretrizes em tempos de paz do dramaturgo Bosco Brasil. Foram analisadas as formações discursivas da obra tendo como base os conceitos de dialogismo, intertextualidade e metalinguagem no intuito de identificar no jogo dramático o cruzamento das vozes sociais e ideológicas para refletir sobre a relevância da arte contra a barbárie. Depois da apresentação de um breve panorama descritivo sobre o autor e a sua obra, realizou-se um estudo de alguns aspectos da gênese da obra a partir das inferências intertextuais e contextos relativos ao recorte histórico presentes de modo implícito ou explícito na obra analisada. Em seguida desenvolveu-se o estudo do contexto histórico da peça: Era Vargas/Estado Novo (1945). A análise da estrutura dramática do texto teve como fundamentação teórica os estudos de Anne Ubersfeld, além do exame de aspectos da gênese da peça; análise do espaço teatral e da relação dos personagens com o lugar e o não-lugar; identificação das vozes sociais presentes de modo implícito e/ou explícito e investigação da presença da metalinguagem e da intertextualidade. Dessa forma, é possível concluir que há a presença de dois discursos: da ideologia dominante e da arte. Na construção discursiva da peça, o autor Bosco Brasil enfatiza o segundo discurso para refletir sobre o poder da arte contra a barbárie.

ABSTRACT

This study proposes an analysis of the discursive construction in the dramaturgy of the play Novas diretrizes em tempos de paz by Bosco Brazil. The discursive formations of the play were analyzed based on concepts of dialogism, intertextuality and metalanguage to identify in the dramatic play the intersection of social and ideological voices to reflect on the relevance of art against barbarism. After presenting a brief descriptive overview of the author and his work, it was done a study of some aspects of genesis of his play from the intertextual inferences and contexts obtained from the historical period presents in an implicit or explicit way into the analyzed work. There was then a study of the historical context of the play: Era Vargas/ Estado Novo (1945). The analysis of the dramatic structure had as theoretical foundation studies by Anne Ubersfeld, as also aspects of the genesis of the play, the analysis of the theatrical space and the relationship of the characters with the place and non-place, the identification of social voices present implicitly and/or explicitly, and the exploration of the metalanguage and intertextuality. Through this analysis, it is possible to conclude that there is the presence of two discourses: the discourse of the dominant ideology and discourse of art. In the discursive construction of the play, the author Bosco Brazil emphasizes the second discourse to reflect on the power of art against barbarism.
