Resumo:
The objective of this study is to analyze the economic and legal aspects of lease agreements for the implementation of wind farms in the municipality of Brotas de Macaúbas, Bahia, in order to evaluate the relationship between peasants and wind farms in the region. To do so, an analysis was made from the leases made available by the Pastoral Land Commission (CPT) and used as reference the documents of the Statkra company Nova Canarana Wind Power Plant made available in the module Public Consultation of the State System of Environmental Information and Resources (SEIA) of the State of Bahia. In addition to holding meetings and workshops with the Communities involved. The analysis pointed out that the contracts present several elements of economic and legal insecurity for the communities involved and points to the background of the land issue and the importance and limits of the State as mediator of these relations.
