Abstract:
This monograph analyzes content published by two Instagram pages, "Mundo Negro" (@sitemundonegro) and "Pretitudes" (@pretitudes), seeking to observe their "discursive positions" on issues involving Black Brazilians. Based on "new dynamics of sociability and processes of mediatization of environments with the development of Information and Communication Technologies, the work explains the position "of these pages as an active part of the discursive construction of race relations in Brazil." Through different thematic choices, formats, and approaches, it is understood that there is an ongoing "process of reconfiguring the public sphere of the topic in question, with different productions of meaning regarding raciality in the country.
