Resumen:
This work aims to present and describe the research process and the results achieved as a result of the master's course in the Professional Postgraduate Program in Music at the Federal University of Bahia (PPGPROM). The final product developed presents a series of six peruvian compositions for solo horn, a consequence of my andean nationality and as a horn player. The work is composed of a descriptive memorial, an academic memorial, an article and the final product. The descriptive memorial contains events relating to my musical career; the academic memorial describes the steps taken during the master's degree; The article seeks to report the motivations and processes arising from my professional experience and my search for these works with peculiar characteristics of peruvian music. The results achieved will be displayed in the form of a video-recorded recital and made available for online viewing. In this way, the researcher, through a technical-interpretive contextualization, will demonstrate important elements of this musical culture and the idiomatic peculiarities of performance present in this repertoire. It is also intended that this initiative will serve as a stimulus for horn players so that, through entry into the world of interpretation, it will become a source of inspiration for new works that value identity and musical discourse.
