Resumo:
This memorial describes the process of producing, recording, editing, distributing and promoting the podcast’s “Neuroverso Escolar” first season. The project is about neurodiversity in the educational environment, and has educators and education students as its target audience. The first season talks specifically about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the classroom, debating the subtopics: what it feels like to be autistic at school; definitions for neurodiversity and ASD; the diagnostic process and the levels of support; autism’s most prominent characteristics; how the Specialized Educational Service is carried out in Bahia; how the individualized teaching plan is elaborated and how to use it in cases of autism; and the part the specialized chaperone plays in the lifes of autistic students. After journalistic investigation about the subject and interviewing specialists, seven episodes were scripted, each discussing one of the before mentioned subtopics. The episodes were recorded and then edited by a professional journalist and four of them were posted on SounCloud, for the examining board’s appreciation. A calendar of posts on the social network Instagram was built to promote the
podcast and the launch of the totality of the episodes on the streaming service Spotify.
