Abstract:
This thesis has as object of study the three-dimensional sculptural experimentations and
poetic perceptions in the process of interaction between urban beings and the
human/urban space, starting from the creation of a visual artistic poetics inserted in the
space, with the sense of amplifying symbolic apprehensions arising from the observation
of the experiences in everyday life and questions related to contemporary urban life, in a
language that unites Brazilian Art, Toy Art and contemporary art. The work “Bicho Homem” is the object that converges all this, where the work of art serves to channel
these impressions. In this sense, considering the political public space, of reflection and
exercise of citizenship, exhibiting in public and private spaces was to seek to activate
contents about the way we occupy the space and how art participates in this debate. Thus,
the present work is a continuation of the artistic work to interpret the experiences of the
creative experience with sculptures on the street or in closed public spaces of Salvador,
Bahia, Brasil through the reflections of thinkers such as Adam Rutherford (2020),
Almandrade (2008), Aroldo Rodrigues (2022), Carl Jung (2016), Catherine Millet (1997),
