Resumo:
Actually, most teachers when adopting unattractive methodologies and with short connection
with the reality of their students, reinforces the stereotype of Geography as a “decorative”
subject. This study aims to contribute to new teaching-learning configurations in a fun and
entertaining way. To this end, it proposes the use of active methodologies, but specifically
gamification, in two teaching proposals, using the following digital games: League of
Legends and Minecraft. These games were presented and experienced by a class of students
on a licentiate in Geography at the Federal University of Bahia who, in the near future, will
be future teachers of the subject and in this research correspond to our target audience. This
work is organized according to the following methodological stages: bibliographic research
of key words, development of “gamified” praxis, construction of hornbooks with with
theoretical content and explanation of the proposed practices, application of the didactics to
the target audience and evaluation of the proposals using a questionnaire. After analysis, most
of the results revealed that the future teachers considered the didactics to be playful and to
promote immersion, placing the student at the center of the teaching-learning process.
