Resumo:
This study discusses the professionalization of Brazilian arbitration and the difficulties encountered by them to have their rights guaranteed before the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF). It tries to understand why the issue of the professionalization of arbitration in Brazilian football has not advanced as it should and what impacts can improve local sport. Discusses the arrival of Var and its possible benefits in reducing mistakes and mistakes made by referees during a football match. It aims to analyze difficulties and possible impacts in the process of professionalization of arbitration in Brazil. This is a qualitative research, exploratory and as for the procedure a field research and is characterized as a case study. The results of these studies show that this theme has not been debated permanently before the CBF, not outsourcing the arbitration class if it is agenda will happen as well as in countries where football is the main sport. Still, it is causing the lack of uniformity of the criteria and poor preparation of arbitration to occur routinely even with the help of Var, as well as, the safety of work before an impossibility does not occur before the maximum entity of Brazilian football until the then year of this research.
