Resumo:
The present work seeks to reflect on the formation of a chamber music repertoire of Dobrados (brazilian marchs), among the traditional works of the Brazilian Army, adapted for clarinet quartet. The following works by composer Antônio Manoel do Espírito Santo were adapted: Dobrado 220, Dobrado Cisne Branco, Dobrado 182, Dobrado Quatro Dias de Viagem, Dobrado Bombardeio da Bahia. Therefore, this research is configured as a case study of qualitative character and as a data collection instrument, we used a semi-structured interview, which included the participation of clarinetists from a military band of the Army, in São Paulo. Thus, this study is justified because it encourages the practice of chamber music in civil or military music bands, using the main repertoire of this music groups, Dobrados, adapted for clarinet quartet. In addition, this work is composed of a descriptive Memorial, a scientific article, a professional report on the oriented practices, adapted Dobrados scores for clarinet quartet and an album with the studio recording of the adapted Dobrados.
