This book was made with great commitment and dedication and we hope that it will be another tool for articulation between the University and the practices in Dance developed by you.
In the first chapter, Professor Agatha Silvia Nogueira e Oliveira presents Dances and Popular Manifestations.
The proposal here is that academic studies on dance, as an area of knowledge, are permeated, crossed and informed mainly by elements present in popular expressive manifestations in the Northeast region of Brazil, recognizing the epistemological value of such phenomena.
In the second chapter, Professor Isabelle Cordeiro Nogueira presents the component Compositional Elements of Dance Scenes, which addresses important aspects of creation, basing our actions and activities through theoretical and practical references.
