| dc.description.abstract | Recent studies of extra-Amazonian species of Copaifera revealed several nomenclatural problems. We choose lectotypes for C. cearensis Huber ex Ducke and C. cearensis var. arenicola Ducke from amongst the available syntypes, and propose the lectotypification of C. langsdorffii Desf. with its original plate. Comments are made about the correct spelling of the specific epithet of C. langsdorffii and the typifications of C. elliptica Mart. and C. luetzelburgii Harms are clarified. | pt_BR |
