Avaliação agronômica de cultivares de sorgo no semiárido

Abstract

Objetivou-se avaliar agronomicamente 24 híbridos de sorgo em primeiro e segundo corte no semiárido. Utilizou-se o delineamento em blocos casualizados com três repetições. Os híbridos avaliados foram os seguintes: 944007, 944056, 944040, 944009, 945015, 945019, 945020, 945023, 945026, 945021, 945027, 945022, 944043, 944033, 944034, 946007, 946015, 946016, 946013, 946042, 946043, BRS655, Volumax e, BRS610. As variáveis avaliadas foram: altura de plantas (AP), diâmetro de colmo (DC), número de plantas por hectare (NP), número de folhas (NF), tamanho médio de folhas (TMF), tamanho de panícula (TP), teor de matéria seca (MS), produção de matéria verde (PMV) e produção de matéria seca (PMS) em kg/ha, e o percentual dos componentes da MS (panícula, lâmina foliar e colmo). Não houve efeito (P>0,05) para produção de matéria seca (PMS) no corte 1, variando a produção entre 6.592,17 kg/ha a 14.540,23 kg/ha e média de 10.455,21 kg/ha, e no corte 2, variou entre 2.600,53 kg/ha e 5.942,66 kg/ha e média de 3.339,84 kg/ha. O percentual de rendimento de PMS da rebrota variou de 21,80% a 62,21% em relação ao primeiro corte. Houve diminuição de valores médios no segundo corte para variáveis como altura de planta (AP), diâmetro do colmo (DC), tamanho de panícula (TP) e tamanho médio de folha (TMF). Houve aumento da média do componente colmo e diminuição de panícula no segundo corte. Os híbridos avaliados aliam produção elevada com alto percentual de panícula na MS, além do elevado rendimento de PMS na rebrota.

The trial aimed to evaluate the agronomic traits of 24 hybrid sorghum in the first and second cut in the semiarid. The experimental design was a randomized block design with three replications. The present study screened 24 genotypes of hybrid sorghum: 944007, 944056, 944040, 944009, 945015, 945019, 945020, 945023, 945026, 945021, 945027, 945022, 944043, 944033, 944034, 946007, 946015, 946016, 946013, 946042, 946043, BRS655,Volumax and BRS610. There were analyzed variables such as: plant height, stem diameter, number of plants per hectare, number of leaves, size of leaves, size of panicle dry matter content, production of fresh and dry matter yield in kg/ha and the percentage of dry matter components (panicle, leaf and stem). There was no effect (P> 0.05) for dry matter production in a court, and the production ranged from 6592.17 kg/ha to 14,540.23 kg/ha and with an average of 10,455.21 kg/ha, and the second cut ranged between 2600.53 kg/ha and 5942.66 kg/ha and average 3339.84 kg/ha. The percentage of dry matter yield during the regrowth period ranged from 21.80% to 62.21% from the first cut. There was a decrease of mean values for the second cut for variables such as plant height, stem diameter, size of panicle and medium size sheet. There was an increase of the average of the component stem and panicle decreased in the second cut. The evaluated hybrids combine great production with high percentage of panicle dry matter, and of dry matter yield during the regrowth period.
