Abstract

A produção literária de Jorge Mautner é marcada por intensa carga autobiográfica (autoficção) onde o autor, o narrador e o personagem se misturam na chuva que molha a narrativa, dando vida à escrita revestida pelo manto da estranheza, uma estranheza imbricada em incompreensão. Se por um lado a intensidade autobiográfica se mistura à narrativa fazendo a escrita fluir como um rio, por outro essa mesma intensidade autobiográfica faz surgir o múltiplo mautneriano, entendido nesta pesquisa como uma nomenclatura que se inscreve no autor por meio do autobiográfico e que se evidencia também em entrevista. Este trabalho, então, consiste no mapeamento dos múltiplos deste escritor, poeta, compositor e cantor que também dialoga com a filosofia e o cinema. Para mapear os múltiplos mautnerianos, os livros Jorge Mautner - O filho do holocausto: memórias (1941 a 1958) e Deus da Chuva e da Morte são utilizados como principais fontes, não deixando de visitar outras obras, o livro Kaos e poemas que migraram para a forma de letra de canção. Dentre os múltiplos mapeados nesta Tese, o Kaos, a chuva e o maldito mereceram atenção especial porque são nomenclaturas que acompanham o autor a partir da metade da década de 1950, quando começou a escrever a Trilogia do Kaos. O poeta lírico também foi içado como múltiplo na larga campina de sua produção poética.

Jorge Mautner’s literary production is signaled by an intense autobiographical (autofiction) presence, where the author, the narrator and the character blend themselves in the rain that wets the narrative, giving life to the writing dressed by the cover of strangeness, a strangeness that result in incomprehension. If by one side the autobiographical intensity that blends itself with the narrative making the writing flow like a river, on the other side, this same autobiographical intensity results on the birth of the author’s multi-selves. This research understands that as a nomenclature that inscribes itself in the author through the autobiographical aspect and as an interview that reveals the presence of this multiple as well. This research consists on the mapping of these selves of the author, poet, composer and singer that also dialogues with philosophy and cinema. In order to make this mapping of the multi-selves of Jorge Mautner, I will investigate two books by him: Jorge Mauther, The Son of the Holocaust: Memoirs (1941 to 1958) and God of the Rain and of the Death, highlighting that other works by him will be used as well such as Khaos and poems that migrated to lyrics. Among the multiples mapped by this thesis, the Khaos, the rain and the marginal deserved special attention because they are nomenclatures that follow the author beginning one half of the 1950’s, when he began to write the Trilogy of Khaos. The lyrical poet was also revealed as a multiple in the large estate of his poetical production.
