Auschwitz e “Os anos de chumbo”: resistência e testemunho na escrita de Charlotte Delbo e Lara de Lemos

Abstract

Para este trabalho foi selecionado corpus das obras de Charlotte Delbo, escritora francesa, e Lara de Lemos, escritora brasileira. Nestas obras discute-se a relação da literatura com a violência de Estado, tomando como pano de fundo a realidade da Segunda Guerra mundial, contextualizada pelos campos nazistas, e da Ditadura Civil-Militar na instância das prisões que se espalharam pelo Brasil. Estes eventos são responsáveis pelo nascimento de escrita marcada pelo signo da violência possibilitada por fatos que, dado o teor de horror, mostram-se arredios à representação. As obras selecionadas diferenciam-se quanto ao gênero: uma se constitui de narrativa híbrida e outra prima pelo lirismo, estão redigidas em idiomas diferentes e de autoria de duas mulheres. A discussão encaminha-se no sentido de evidenciar nas escritas de resistência e testemunho das escritoras, os protocolos de representação e de revisita de memórias. A resistência pode ser ação ativa e passiva, podendo ser manifesta objetivamente, como nas lutas armadas e subjetivamente no embate de ideias. As investigações sobre testemunho ganharam fôlego depois da Segunda Guerra mundial, com as pesquisas dos relatos dos que escaparam do Lager, e concorrem com o testimonio na América Latina. O testemunho pode ser conceituado como testis e superstes. Escrever o trauma configura-se na representação da memória traumática dos poetas presos políticos avariados pelos supliciamentos, podendo funcionar como resistência, testemunho e tutor de resiliência.

For this thesis it was selected corpus from the works of the French writer Charlotte Delbo, and from the Brazilian writer Lara de Lemos. The relation between literature and state violence is discussed in these works, which take as its background the reality of the Second World War, contextualized by the Nazi camps, and of the Civil-Military Dictatorship in the instance of the prisons that have been spread throughout Brazil. These events are responsible for the birth of the writing marked by the sign of the violence made possible by facts that, given the terror content, show themselves as difficult to be represented. The selected works differ according to genre: one constitutes a hybrid narrative and the other excels by lyricism, they are both written in different languages and are authored by two women, who are geographically distant from each other but are also approximated by the prison experience. The discussion is conducted in the sense of showing in the writing of resistance and testimony of the writers the protocols of the representation and of the revisiting of memories. Resistance can be both an active and a passive action, which may be manifested objectively, as in the armed struggles, and subjectively, as in the clash of ideas. The investigations of testimony gained traction after the Second World War, with the research of the narratives of those who escaped the Lager, and they compete with the testimonio in Latin America. The testimony can be conceptualized as testis and superstes. Writing about the trauma is configured in the representation of the traumatized memory of the arrested political poets damaged by torture, functioning as resistance, testimony and tutor of resilience.
