RITMOS DO CANDOMBLÉ KETU NA BATERIA: ADAPTAÇÕES DOS TOQUES AGUERÉ, VASSI, DARÓ E JINKÁ, A PARTIR DAS PRÁTICAS DE IURI PASSOS

Abstract

Este documento compreende o trabalho final apresentado ao Programa de Pós-Graduação Profissional em Música da UFBA e tem como principal objetivo propor adaptações de ritmos do Candomblé Ketu para o instrumento Bateria, a partir das práticas do músico e alabê Iuri Passos. Inicialmente será apresentado um Memorial, onde um resumo da história musical do autor, enfatizando a trajetória percorrida durante o curso, estará descrito. Em seguida um artigo acadêmico, que elabora apontamentos iniciais sobre uma Teoria da Aprendizagem da Bateria, será compartilhado. Na sequência, o resultado da pesquisa será apresentado em formato de livro-método para o instrumento bateria, onde quatro ritmos do Candomblé Ketu, e suas respectivas adaptações na Bateria, serão explorados. As variações e adaptações descritas no método estão compartilhadas também em um DVD anexado ao final do mesmo. Encerrando, serão apresentados relatórios descrevendo as práticas realizadas no período.

This document includes the final work presented to the Professional Postgraduate Program in Music of UFBA and its main objective is to propose adaptations of Candomblé Ketu rhythms for drumset, from de pratices of the musician and alabê Iuri Passos. Initially will be presented a Memorial, where the summary of the musical history of the author, emphasizing the trajectory covered during the course, will be described. Then an academic article that elaborates initial notes on a Theory of Learning of the Drumset will be shared. In the sequence, the search result will be presented in book-method format for the instrument, where four rhythms of Candomblé Ketu and their respective adaptations in the drums will be explained. The transcripts and adaptations described in the method will also be shared in audiovisual format, in DVD attached at the end of it. Closing, reports, describing the practices performed in the period, will be presented.
