Notas sobre teorias da crise: uma breve revisão dos legados marxistas e keynesiano

Abstract

Este projeto tem como objetivo central revisar e sistematizar as principais contribuições teóricas, no âmbito das correntes marxista e keynesiana, acerca do debate sobre as crises econômicas do capitalismo. É reputada a relevância da temática em questão, particularmente frente a mais recente manifestação do fenômeno – eclodida em 2008 nos Estados Unidos em subsequência ao estouro da bolha imobiliária no seu chamado mercado subprime – e de sua perpetuação, cujos impactos vêm sendo sentidos em todo o globo até os dias atuais. Partindo desse princípio, revela-se crucial a tentativa de promover mais e mais discussões no sentido de estimular o referido debate. Ademais, a iniciativa se mostra mais pertinente quando consideramos a aparente inércia dos teóricos do mainstream diante de mais uma evidência empírica que expõe os limites de suas formulações quando da análise da realidade concreta. Neste sentido, tendo como eixo referencial as contribuições originais de Marx e Keynes, busca-se ainda explanar, em linhas gerais, as principais formulações acerca da crise que delas emanaram, investigando assim seus desdobramentos contemporâneos e os avanços da discussão teórica sob a luz das questões levantadas por esses autores.

This work aims to review and systematize the main theoretical contributions, within the framework of the Marxist and Keynesian approaches, when it comes to the debate about the economic crises in capitalism. The attention that it is given to the issue in focus is particularly relevant considering the most recent manifestation of the phenomenon – which occurred in 2008, in the United States, following the bursting of the real estate bubble in its so-called “subprime market” – and its perpetuation, whose impacts have been strongly felt all around the globe until the present day. Considering this context, the attempt to promote more and more discussions to stimulate this debate proves to be crucial. In addition, the initiative is even more pertinent when we recognize the apparent inertia of the mainstream theorists before another empirical evidence that exposes the limits of its formulations concerning the analysis of the concrete reality. In this sense, starting from the original contributions of Marx and Keynes, it is sought here to explain, in general lines, the main formulations about the crisis that emanated from them, and to investigate their contemporary developments and the advances of the theoretical discussion in the light of the questions originally raised by these two authors.
