Pescadores do Rio Vermelho: ritos, tradições e ancestralidade da pesca artesanal

Abstract

Essa investigação tem como intuito compreender os ritos, as tradições e a ancestralidade presentes no trabalho artesanal dos pescadores do Rio Vermelho. Em função da pequena produção etnográfica sobre os pescadores na Bahia, pretendo dar visibilidade ao trabalho e as relações sociais dos pescadores artesanais. Através desta dissertação pretendo realizar um registro etnográfico dos pescadores do Rio Vermelho e em particular do Porto de Santana. Os objetivos são observar, narrar e interpretar, através de pesquisa etnográfica, o trabalho, a rotina, a linguagem e os diversos elementos que compõem o ambiente dos pescadores do Rio Vermelho, compreendendo a importância da cultura e da ancestralidade sobre dos comportamentos sociais e formação identitária dos sujeitos envolvidos na pesca artesanal.

This research has the intention to understand the rituals, the traditions and the ancestry in the craftsmanship of the fishermen of the Red River. Due to the small production of ethnographic fishermen in Bahia, intend to give visibility to the work and social relations of the fishermen. Through this paper, I intend to carry out an ethnographic record of the fishermen of the Red River and, in particular, the Port of Santana. The objectives are to observe, narrate and interpret, through the ethnographic research, the work, the routine, the language and the various elements that compose the environment of the fishermen of the Red River, including the importance of culture and ancestry on social behavior and identity formation of individuals involved in fishing.
