Atuação de um guitarrista em Salvador: pesquisa autobiográfica docente

Abstract

O presente trabalho, intitulado “Atuação de um guitarrista em Salvador: pesquisa autobiográfica docente", é um estudo na área de educação musical para os instrumentos violão e guitarra elétrica. Seu principal objetivo é promover a reflexão da minha trajetória profissional e de formação, ressaltando, principalmente, os processos trabalhados por mim e ligados ao violão e à guitarra, buscando compreender qual o meu perfil docente e como contribuem para a minha formação e atuação artística e pedagógica atuais para execução instrumental. Esta investigação tem como marco metodológico a pesquisa autobiográfica, de caráter transdisciplinar e interdisciplinar, no qual se encontrarão em seus procedimentos técnicos características de objetivo exploratórias, explicativas, descritivas e de estudo histórico, assumindo como delimitação do campo de estudo a pesquisa autobiográfica do docente Alex Augusto Mesquita Costa. Deste universo musical, serão colhidas informações com o objetivo de refletir sobre os processos artísticos e pedagógicos com a guitarra e o violão, considerando a natureza da minha formação musical e trajetória docente, desenvolvidas no âmbito da música popular. No desenvolvimento do tema deste trabalho surgiram debates que fomentaram o processo em si, baseando-se na: condição de cidadão brasileiro e soteropolitano; consequentemente, músico e professor do curso de música popular, seguindo a demanda natural de saberes nas áreas de educação musical e execução instrumental; assim como nos trabalhos de educação de David Elliott e Lucy Green sobre os fundamentos da educação na área de música popular e filosofia da educação musical; nas diretrizes da educação musical atual que consideram a música popular local e sua história como base para uma educação inclusiva; nas ideias e modelos de educação musical do educador Keith Swaniwick e a gestão e inventário de gêneros e subgêneros musicais, em seus aspectos históricos, sociais e culturais com os quais tive contato em minhas vivências musicais. Enquanto membro do corpo docente do curso de Música Popular da Universidade Federal da Bahia, depara-se com o desafio de organizar programas de matérias e planejamentos de aulas que reflitam uma educação musical mais inclusiva e democratizada diante do modus operandi da academia; um modelo de educação musical que considere e minimize as perdas sofridas no processo de transfusão da música popular inserida em seu contexto para a academia, composto de reflexão pedagógica e inclusão social. Faz-se necessário obter um perfil mais aprofundado sobre a música popular, visando à reflexão sobre os processos pedagógicos para o ensino do violão e da guitarra. Com o desdobramento desta pesquisa, o mapeamento destes processos musicais experienciados e a identificação das formas de transmissão destes conhecimentos, foi possível estabelecer conexões entre metodologias contemporâneas da educação musical instrumental com os conhecimentos da práticas musicais efetivadas por mim, aproximando o ensino musical e suas práticas pedagógicas do meio e dos contextos nos quais a música se manifesta. Encontramos nestes padrões manifestações de relações históricas e de elementos culturais, fundamentais em uma abordagem científica para o desenvolvimento de uma educação inclusiva.

The present work, titled "Acting of a guitarist in Salvador: autobiographical research teacher", is a study in the area of musical education for the guitar and electric guitar instru- ments. Its main objective is to promote the reflection of my professional trajectory and of training, highlighting, mainly, the processes worked by me and linked to the guitar and guitar, seeking to understand my teaching profile and how they contribute to my present artistic and pedagogical training and performance for instrumental execution. autobiographical research, of a transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary character, where the exploratory, explanatory, de- scriptive and historical study characteristics of the subject will be found in its technical proce- dures, assuming as a delimitation of the field of study the autobiographical research of the teacher Alex Augusto Mesquita Costa. From this musical universe will be gathered informa- tion with the purpose of reflecting on the artistic and pedagogical processes with the electric guitar and the acoustic guitar, considering the nature of my musical formation and teaching trajectory, developed in the ambit of popular music. In the development of the theme of this work, there were debates that fomented the process itself, based on: Brazilian citizen status and soteropolitan; consequently, musician and teacher of the course of popular music, follow- ing the natural demand for knowledge in the areas of musical education and instrumental exe- cution; as well as in the education works of David Elliott and Lucy Green on the fundamen- tals of education in the area of popular music and music education philosophy; in the current musical education guidelines that consider local popular music and its history as the basis for an inclusive education; in the ideas and models of musical education of the educator Keith Swaniwick and the management and inventory of musical genres and subgenres, in their his- torical, social and cultural aspects that I had contact in my musical experiences. As a member of the faculty of the Popular Music course at the Federal University of Bahia, faced the chal- lenge of organizing content programs and lesson plans that reflect a more inclusive and de- mocratized music education in the face of the modus operandi of the academy; a musical edu- cation model that considers and minimizes the losses suffered in the transfusion process of popular music inserted in its context for the academy, composed of pedagogical reflection and social inclusion. It is necessary to obtain a more in-depth profile on popular music, aiming at reflection on the pedagogical processes for the teaching of electric and acoustic guitar. With the development of this research, the mapping of these musical processes experienced and the identification of the transmission forms of this knowledge, it was possible to establish connec- tions between contemporary methodologies of instrumental musical education with the knowledge of the musical practices carried out by me, bringing musical teaching and its peda- gogical practices closer to the medium and contexts in which music is manifested. We find in these patterns manifestations of historical relations and cultural elements, fundamental in a scientific approach to the development of an inclusive education.
