OS MARCADORES CONVERSACIONAIS NO DISCURSO DO INTÉRPRETE SIMULTÂNEO: REPRODUZÍ-LOS OU NÃO?

Abstract

Na Interpretação de Conferências, o discurso fonte e a sua respectiva tradução manifestam-se oralmente consoante às diversas maneiras de expressão que são determinadas por diferentes falantes membros de culturas distintas. Uma vez que a Interpretação Simultânea acontece em tempo real, este trabalho visa investigar se a simultaneidade na Interpretação permite a representação das marcas de oralidade presentes no discurso de partida ou se apresenta um maior nível de literalidade. Adotando uma metodologia pautada nos estudos descritivos de Gideon Toury (1985) e sob a luz dos estudos da oralidade desenvolvidos por Walter J. Ong (1982) serão analisadas algumas transcrições com o objetivo de demonstrar a linguagem como um fenômeno oral em suas várias manifestações.

In Conference Interpreting, the source- discourse and its translation occurs orally according the different ways of expression which are determined by different speakers members of different culture. Once conference Interpreting occurs on- the – spot, this paper aims to investigate if the simultaneity during interpretation permits the representation of oral marks in the target discourse or if it presents a higher level of literacy. Assuming a methodology based on the descriptive Studies by Gideon Toury (1995) and based upon the orality studies By Walter J. Ong (1982) some transcriptions will be analyzed aiming to demonstrate the language as an oral phenomenon in its several manifestations.
