A Performance Musical e os Aspectos Estruturais de Quassus para Clarineta Solo de Eli-Eri Moura

Abstract

Este é um estudo analítico acerca dos aspectos estruturais de Quassus para clarineta solo, de Eli-Eri Moura. O trabalho foi realizado no sentido de oferecer subsídios que possam auxiliar o executante em suas escolhas interpretativas. O texto divide-se em sete capítulos, sendo os três primeiros destinados a introduzir os objetivos do trabalho, contextualizar e definir os termos envolvidos na pesquisa, e expor a metodologia empregada. Os capítulos 4 e 5 apresentam os processos composicionais utilizados por Moura na peça, comparando-a com outras obras do próprio compositor. O capítulo 6 realiza uma análise estrutural de Quassus à luz desses mesmos processos composicionais. Por fim, o capítulo 7 apresenta as considerações interpretativas que emergiram como resultado final do estudo realizado nos capítulos anteriores.

This is an analytical study about the structural aspects of Quassus for clarinet solo, by Eli-Eri Moura. The aim of the work was to propose suggestions and instructions that may assist the performer with his interpretative choices. The text is divided in seven chapters. The first three introduce the goals of the work, contextualize and define the terms concerning the research, and present the methodology employed. Chapters 4 and 5 explain the compositional processes used by Moura in the piece, establishing a comparison with other works by the same composer. Chapter 6 provides a structural analysis of Quassus in light of these same compositional processes. Finally, Chapter 7 presents some considerations on performance and interpretation that emerged as concluding results of the study carried out in the previous chapters.
