Resumo:
This article seeks to analyze, through the critique of political economy approach, the dynamics of the government of Dilma Rousseff, elected by the Workers' Party, and the current ongoing crisis in order to identify (1) the main factors that led to the economical and political crisis underway in the country, which is progressively assuming a structural character under the effects of “Lava Jato” operation, and (2) the possible consequences of this crisis in the short-run (fiscal adjustment, impeachment, governmental lethargy,
fraying of PT) as well as in the long-run (pro-capitalist neoliberal reforms and
restructuring of capital blocks).
