Resumo:
This memorial aims primarily to present and contextualize the process behind creating the fundraising proposal for the project “Festival São Caetano Resistência.” The proposal was designed with a flexible and comprehensive structure so it could adapt to different funding strategies. This approach reflects both my own intention and that of other collaborators to ensure the project has real chances of being carried out and, at minimum, to enable concrete attempts to secure financial support.
As part of this effort, the project was submitted to the state cultural sponsorship incentive program — FAZCULTURA — through the SIIC Platform. In addition, a collective fundraising model was also developed to make at least a partial execution of the festival feasible if full funding is not secured.
The project format developed is a two-month festival consisting of four biweekly events, all following a shared program structure. Each meeting includes MC battles, educational and professional training workshops, discussion circles, and pocket shows. The project concept emerged from an environmental and contextual analysis that combined personal observations and motivations with third-party reports and reference research that provided the theoretical foundation for this document.
