Resumo:
The objective of this work is to analyze the socio-environmental conflicts involving wind farms, based on the entrepreneur versus landowner/occupant relationship through lease agreements for the implementation of wind farms in the traditional pasture communities of Mangabeira and Boa Vista, in the municipality of Brotas de Macaúbas, Bahia. To this end, field research was carried out with the local associations of the communities, as well as consultation with relevant agencies. The analysis initially identified elements of insecurity in the contracts in regard land use conditions and conflicts due to the lease of the property. However, after the negotiations a new contract was drawn up. Even so, there was an absence of State intermediation with landowners and entrepreneurs, as aspects of land regularization were present in the negotiation, making necessary State actions in the region.
